Hon. Brian Kemp, the Secretary of State of the State of Georgia, spoke to the Peachtree City Rotary Club recently. His talk centered on the role of the Secretary of State’s office and its duties, including the administration of voter registration, and the process of registering business entities in the State. Secretary Kemp served in the Georgia State Senate from 2003-2006, and has been Secretary of State since January 2010.

Among his accomplishments, Kemp established a national model for election security. The My Voter Page (MVP) voter education website allows voters to view a sample ballot, find early voting locations and times, find their Election Day polling location, and verify registration status. Georgia’s military and overseas voters can use MVP to electronically receive ballots.

He reminded all business owners to renew their corporation registration with the State not later than March 31st!
