April 29, 2025 - Thanks to support from the Rotary Club of Peachtree City and the Georgia DNR Wildlife Viewing Grants Program, a new educational sign—“NeSmith Preserve: A 100 Years in the Making”—has been installed to highlight the preserve’s natural transformation into a thriving wetland ecosystem. The grant also helped redesign the end of the boardwalk, improving accessibility and creating a more engaging space for all visitors. We’re proud to support projects that promote conservation, education, and community access to nature.
