The Rotary Club of Peachtree City is proud to partner with the Rotary Club of Addis Ababa East and Heart Attack Ethiopia to bring lifesaving cardiac care to those who need it most. Thanks to a $50,000 Rotary Foundation Global Grant, the upcoming Cardiac Mission in July will deliver critical medical supplies and hands-on training to healthcare professionals at partner hospitals in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. With cardiovascular disease now a leading cause of death in Ethiopia — and only five cardiac surgeons serving a population of over 130 million — this support will help make a meaningful difference. More than 100 lifesaving cardiac surgeries and procedures will be performed, helping to reduce a backlog of over 15,000 patients currently awaiting treatment. This effort reflects Rotary’s commitment to sustainable solutions through international service and collaboration. Together, we are creating hope and healing across borders.
