Community in Action!

This week, members of the Rotary Club of Peachtree City rolled up their sleeves at Alō Farms to help pack out fresh, locally grown lettuce!

Their efforts support Alō’s mission to grow healthy food and healthy communities—right here in Peachtree City.
What is Alō Farms?

A leader in sustainable indoor farming, Alō produces “better than organic” lettuce, herbs, microgreens, and Mediterranean tilapia using an innovative aquaponic system.

Their method conserves water and eliminates the need for pesticides, herbicides, or GMOs—making every bite fresh, clean, and safe.

Through the Alō Farms Foundation, this 501(c)(3) nonprofit has donated over $500,000 worth of fresh produce to address food insecurity in Georgia.

They also offer hands-on educational experiences and partner with schools, food banks, and clinics across the region.

Thank you, Alō Farms, for the meaningful work you do—and thank you to our Rotarians for being People of Action!
