Local non-profit, the Armed Forces Mission, works to “turn the tide on suicide” by providing training for individuals in the area of suicide prevention. In the wake of COVID-19, we have already seen an increase in our nation’s successful and attempted suicides, thus highlighting the need for innovative and successful training platforms. In effort to do jus that, the PTC Rotary club obtained a $5,000 District Grant that will be used to develop an online suicide prevention training program for the Armed Forces Mission. Our club was honored to attend filming for this new program.
