The Peachtree City Rotary Club partnered with Cooper Lighting Solutions and Herr Electric to coordinate and participate in a project to support Wellspring Living. Through the generous donation of new LED lighting and the hours of work done by over 65 volunteers, we were able to make the lives of human trafficking victims a little bit safer and the facilities that support them much more sustainable. Thanks so much to everyone who participated in this awesome project!

We are extremely lucky to have the local hometown heroes that we do in Peachtree City / Fayette County.  With the combined efforts of the Rotary Club, the PTC Rotaract Club, Starrs Mill High School Interact Club and our Rotary Community Corps, we were able to pack out multiple snack-packs to deliver to each Fire Station in Peachtree City and to each breakroom at Piedmont Fayette for our healthcare workers.  We hope this small token of appreciation brought a smile to their faces through the holidays and let them know how much we appreciate the heroic efforts they do each day and especially through our challenges in 2020!

Oh what fun!  Our Club thoroughly enjoyed being SANTA for our local seniors again this year!  It is always fun to bring a little hope and cheer to those in need - especially during the holidays!  From socks to coffee mugs, sheets to bathrobes and even some simple candy - we had fun doing the shopping for this year's event!  Thanks to Fayette Senior Services for all they do in our community!

PAYING IT FORWARD👏🏼 The Peachtree City Rotary Club partnered with the students at McIntosh High School to raise money for the Real Life Center. The students were able to raise $463, and with our club’s match, we hit a grand total of $1,000! The money raised was used to purchase gift cards that the Real Life Center will be distributing to those in need this holiday season❤️💚#peopleofaction #ptcrotary #serviceaboveself #realchiefsgiveback
HAPPY TURKEY WEEK🦃 Turkeys from our Rotary and Rotaract clubs got together on Monday to help Midwest Food Bank package 250 meals donated by Hello Fresh for those in need this holiday season. Of all the things to be grateful for, we find ourselves grateful that despite the challenges this year, we are able to continue serving our community💛 If you would like to learn more about our organization, please don’t hesitate to reach out! All are welcome! #serviceaboveself #peopleofaction

Rotary has been working to eradicate polio for more than 35 years. Our goal of ridding the world of this disease is closer than ever.

As a founding partner of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative, we've reduced polio cases by 99.9 percent since our first project to vaccinate children in the Philippines in 1979.

Rotary members have contributed more than $2.1 billion and countless volunteer hours to protect nearly 3 billion children in 122 countries from this paralyzing disease. Rotary’s advocacy efforts have played a role in decisions by governments to contribute more than $10 billion to the effort.

Today, polio remains endemic only in Afghanistan and Pakistan. But it’s crucial to continue working to keep other countries polio-free. If all eradication efforts stopped today, within 10 years, polio could paralyze as many as 200,000 children each year.
