Every year each Rotary Club in Georgia sponsors a foreign student to study for a year in the United States through its Georgia Rotary Student Program (GRSP).  This year the Rotary Club of Peachtree City is sponsoring Christoffer Tolstrup from Denmark.  Chris is studying pre-law at Georgia State University.  His host family is Steve & Becky Butler.

Recently, Christoffer gave a talk to the Peachtree City Rotary Club showing photographs of Denmark, and explaining what his country is like.  The crowd was entertained with his factual, yet humorous, presentation. For example, we learned that Danishes (the pastry) were not invented in Denmark!  And that Danes are regularly ranked the “happiest” people in the world.  His explanation for this: “We have such low expectations.”
